TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Move On Out Moving & Services, LLC

(“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

By booking moving services with Move On Out Moving & Services, LLC, the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

We provide residential and commercial moving services, including loading, transportation, unloading, and related labor services as agreed in your written estimate or service confirmation.

Services do not include packing of hazardous materials, structural alterations, or disassembly/reassembly of items unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. ESTIMATES & PRICING

All estimates are non-binding unless expressly stated otherwise.
Final charges are based on actual time worked, materials used, distance, and services performed.
Hourly time begins when our crew arrives at the pickup location and ends upon completion at the final destination, including reasonable travel time.
Minimum service times may apply and will be disclosed in advance

3. PAYMENT TERMS

All moves have a 2-hour minimum charge.
Payment is due in full upon completion of services.
Payment is required even if services cannot be completed due to issues beyond the Company’s control. This includes, but is not limited to the following situations:
Inaccurate measurements or incomplete information provided by the customer
Items that do not fit through doorways, hallways, elevators, or stairwells
Unsafe, inaccessible, or non-permitted conditions at the pickup or delivery location
Customer unavailability or refusal to proceed
Any other issue not caused by Move On Out Services

Time, labor, and resources reserved for the move are billable once the crew is dispatched.

Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees and collection costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

Ensure all items are properly prepared for moving (unless packing services are purchased).
Disclose in advance any heavy, oversized, fragile, or high-value items.
Secure parking access and required permits.
Ensure safe and lawful access to pickup and delivery locations.

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, or materially different from what was disclosed.

5. PROHIBITED & HAZARDOUS ITEMS

We do not transport:

Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials
Firearms, ammunition, or illegal items
Perishable goods or live animals

If prohibited items are discovered, services may be suspended or terminated without refund.

6. DAMAGE & LIABILITY

We exercise reasonable care; however:

We are not responsible for damage to items that are:
Packed by the customer
Fragile or inherently weak (e.g., particle board furniture)
Subject to normal wear and tear
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage.

Liability Limitation

Unless additional coverage is purchased in writing, our liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per article, consistent with industry standards.

7. CLAIMS PROCESS

Any damage or loss must be reported in writing within 7 days of the move.
Claims must include photos and a clear description of the issue.
Failure to provide timely notice constitutes a waiver of the claim.

8. DELAYS & FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, traffic, mechanical issues, building restrictions, or acts of God.

9. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Move On Out Moving & Services, LLC from claims arising out of:

Customer’s failure to disclose item conditions
Unsafe premises
Violations of these Terms

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use or emotional distress.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with your estimate or service confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. Any modification must be in writing and signed by both parties.

13. ACCEPTANCE

By booking services, signing an estimate, or allowing our crew to begin work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
